Revolt in Africa.

Increasing Russian tensions in Eastern Europe.

Revolt in Africa.

In this article, I will try to provide an unbiased and factual overview of the situation, based on reliable sources and data. I will explain the reasons for the recent uprisings in West Africa and the influence of France in West Africa.

There are successive coups in the African countries under French rule, and the Wagner troops of Russia are throwing their presence in Africa. France’s presence in West Africa is at risk. Why did the Western bloc fighting against Russia in Ukraine not support France in Africa? While the Western alliance supported Zelensky in Ukraine, it was losing to Russia in Africa. The new balance of Politics in Europe

There is a rapidly growing and growing backlash against France in West Africa. The people of most West African countries are uncomfortable with the presence of France. Based on this lies the massacres committed by France in Africa.

Africa’s Perspective on France.

Revolt in Africa.

The recent revolts in West Africa have different causes and contexts, but they share some common themes and aspirations. They are expressions of popular discontent with the social, economic, and political conditions of their countries, which are often marked by corruption, inequality, poverty, insecurity, and human rights violations. They are also manifestations of a desire for change, reform, and democracy, as well as a rejection of external interference and neocolonialism. In particular, many West Africans are critical of the role of France, which has maintained a strong military and economic presence in its former colonies since its independence.

Revolt in Africa. France has intervened militarily in several West African countries, such as Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, and Ivory Coast, under the pretext of fighting terrorism, restoring stability, or protecting its interests. However, many West Africans perceive these interventions as self-serving, paternalistic, and exploitative, and accuse France of supporting authoritarian regimes, plundering natural resources, and undermining national sovereignty.

French influence in West Africa.

Especially West African countries, which gained their independence in 1960, even after 1960, France took the continental resources and continued to exploit African countries economically. Ethnic and religious conflicts, under the name of combating terrorist organizations, largely continued to keep the regimes in their former colonies under their control, with the military bases they opened in West Africa. The new balance of Politics in Europe

Anti-French rhetoric has been on the rise lately. Now, successive military coups in Mali, Guinea, and Burkina Faso have badly affected France’s bilateral relations with West African countries.
It was seen that Russia quickly filled the void that emerged from the failure of France in West Africa and the loss of image.

Russian influence in West Africa.

There were agreements between the leaders of African countries, who met in Moscow, and Putin.
China, which increased its wealth in Africa, increased its power in Africa together with Russia and Türkiye. Cooperation between China and Russia was increasing in Africa. African countries were also developing cooperation with China and Russia. This increased the threats to France. African countries had close relations with Russia and China. The new balance of Politics in Europe

With the support of Russia and Wagner, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger were also rebelling against France. Macron declared that the coups in Niger were very dangerous and that France could intervene militarily. Burkina Faso and Mali’s support of Niger and statements made the situation even more tense.

In a joint statement, the Burkina Faso and Mali administrations warned that in case of any military intervention in Niger, we will consider it a “declaration of war” against ourselves. Wagner was behind it. As it is known, Wagner’s power in Africa is not less.

ECOWAS, which was then formed by the West African countries, stated on Sunday, giving the junta administration in Niger a week and threatening military intervention if elected President Mohammed Bazum is not reinstated.

When we look at the recent events in Africa, we see that the French influence is rapidly weakening.
A power was targeting France in Africa. West Africa meant France, and this perception is now changing. A Power had targeted Europe. They were weakening Europe through both Ukraine and Africa.

On which side of the balance are the US and the UK? The new balance of Politics in Europe

While the coup was taking place in Niger, not a single vehicle took off from the US Military base.
Washington and London remained silent.
France now has to solve its problem on its own.
